The New Root are a female-fronted alternative/indie band from Bristol, UK.

Debut album 'Talk Is Ending' - recorded at Toy Box Studios in Bristol - was released in 2010 and the band are currently working on new material for 2011.

Bristol’s Venue Magazine described TNR as, "…purveyors of an extraordinary sound… the most exhilarating thing we’ve heard all week… engagingly unique… a meld of soaring, volatile voice and fret-vaulting guitarwork".
